Don't miss HBO Latino's two-part concert special featuring Yandel on April 10th...

Yandel Concert Special

Yandel fans are about to get a special treat – the chance to see the legend behind the scenes during the making of one of his unforgettable concerts. HBO Latino, HBO’s spanish-language channel, will premiere a two part, highly-anticipated, concert special on April 10th.

That friday, fans will have the opportunity to watch the special, Yandel: Camino al Concierto at 7:30 p.m. EST, and then follow it up with Yandel: Legacy-De Lider a Leyenda Tour at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Filmed in Puerto Rico last fall, the 90-minute concert special promises to capture everything that went into making Yandel’s new solo act. Watch him and his team of collaborators ignite the stage like wildfire, filling the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum with reggaeton anthems from his certified-gold solo album, De Líder a Leyenda (From Leader to Legend), which was released late 2013 and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart.

HBO Latino invites viewers to experience a new level of intimacy with Yandel, as he discusses his rise to fame, his music, and his future plans.

Fellow trailblazing reggeatoneros such as Wisin, Tego Calderón, Farruko and tropical music kings like Gilberto Santa Rosa, who have each inspired or collaborated with the thriving soloist, are just a few of the many featured interviews. And, as if that isn’t reason enough to get excited, HBO Latino will also release five one-minute webisodes titled Marcando Territorio, full of extra behind-the-scenes footage that will be released leading up to the premiere of the concert special.

It’s going to be an evening to remember (and rewatch).
