Single Release: Meneo - Fito Blanko

Fito-Blanko-meneo

Latin Grammy nominated Fito Blanko just released his latest hit single, “Meneo” produced by Sensei Musica and Dj Chino. “Meneo” uses a variety of tropical influences to convey the universal message of love & dance. “Meneo’ is a Spanish translation of the Caribbean term ‘whine’ which means to “move your hips in a circular motion.” And this song is sure to get your body moving.

“I remember going to community dance halls or basement parties and whining to soca/reggae music in Toronto. I want this song to bring back the nostalgia a word like ‘Meneo’ carries all over Latin America and the world,” comments Fito.

Recently, Fito was a featured artist on DJ Chino’s single, “Si Te Agarro,” which was nominated for “Cancion del Verano” at Premios Juventud. Fito was also featured on Elvis Crespo’s hit single, “Pegaito Suavecito,” which reached #1 on the Billboard Charts and was nominated for a Latin Grammy this year.

Fito Blanko’s talent as a songwriter transforms each piece of his music into a feeling that resonates with fans, as most can relate to the lyrics and spirit of his work. “Meneo” paints a picture of sun, beaches, and palm trees. This song becomes a short getaway while you’re in the car driving home from work or dancing in the club with your friends. The catchy lyrics and the upbeat tempo of “Meneo” are sure to help the song jump to the top of the charts and have you singing along the whole way there!
