Alikilados releases new single, La Bicicleta, to smashing success!

Hot off their latest album, Alkilados have released their first single, “La Bicicleta.” The single — and accompanying music video — comes off their album, Más Playa which will be available by the middle of the year.

Despite steadily releasing singles since 2012, this is only the second studio album for the band. Their first album, Pura Playa was met with both critical and commercial success and featured a bevy of high profile guest artists such as J Balvin, Farruko and Pasabordo.

While it’s not entirely clear what surprises listeners can expect with Más Playa, one thing that is clear after listening to “La Bicicleta” is that Alkilados have not lost any of their musical mojo. “La Bicicleta” is catchy, full of clever lyrics  (“soy todo un atleta/tu boca es mi meta/es ir al polo sin chaqueta/por que es mas facil cruzar/el niagara en bicicleta” is just one example of the many bicycle-themed double entendres throughout the song), and musically masterful. If this single is any indication, the entire album should be very listenable.

Take a look at the video, listen to the song, and be sure to look out for the release of Más Playa! In the meantime, be sure to follow Latin é for the latest in Latino Entertainment.
